In this weeks video I decide to take it to the kitchen and share a few of my go to pre and post game meals with you guys, these are super simple, super cheap and perfect meals for before or after practice or a big hockey game.
As many of you know nutrition and healthy living has been a passion of mine for the last few years and something that really gave me a boost and an edge near the end of my career. I want to use this blog as not only a place to share hockey tips but a place to help you guys get some ideas and to start living a healthier and happier lifestyle today, and hopefully doing it earlier than I did! I want you guys to have your nutrition game on point and feeling your absolute best day in a day out.
The game is changing and getting faster every single year, and at this point you need every edge and advantage that you can get in order to make sure that you’re not only keeping up, but excelling at whatever level it is you play. And in my personal opinion, the area of nutrition is absolutely one of the best places where you can find that edge. More and more players are starting to take their health and nutrition more seriously, and I want to help you guys not only keep up with them, but hopefully surpass them along the way.
My journey back to health and happiness has been a long one, and I’ve learned a lot along the way. I promised myself that once I was ready I would share the knowledge I’ve acquired throughout this journey, in the hopes that you guys don’t have to go through some of the things I’ve gone through, and that you continue getting healthier and stronger everything single day. Thats my goal and I truly hope the same for you.
I hope you enjoyed this video and got a few ideas from it, I encourage you to get in the kitchen and start experimenting with not only cooking your own food, but also learning what foods truly work for your body and which foods don’t. Im shocked at times how many people can’t put a simple healthy meal together, learn to take care of yourselves today, it will pay off not only now but in the future as well.
