Hockey Coach Podcast Episode 11

On this weeks episode of The Hockey Coach Podcast me and Kevin Muller sit down and discuss the importance of the center position, if it’s for you, and how you can help your team create offence and still be responsible defensively.

We also get into why its important to have a “why” or a reason behind what you’re doing in order to keep yourself motivated. And how setting goals can help keep you on track not only as a player but as a person, if we have no direction to where we are going its going to be really difficult to get there:)

And lastly we talked about staying focused in warm ups and not concerning yourself with what the other teams doing or how big their players are. Often times in the game of hockey we psych ourselves out before the puck even drops. Focus on yourself, control what you can control and let the results take care of themselves.

We hope you guys enjoy this episode and we will see you at the next one!

Matt
