How’s it going?
I just wanted to let you know that this will be the first of many Hockey Pro Training blog posts that I will be releasing here on this site, coming at you on a weekly basis. This blog will be covering anything and everything that has to do with the game of hockey, and helping you take your game to the next level.
I know this is going to something that you will enjoy, so make sure to subscribe and look forward to more great content!
In this first video, I share with you a few simple tips to help you master the art of the backwards crossover in hockey. During almost every hockey game you play, especially if you’re a defensemen, you will find yourself in at least a few different situations when you will need to get going backwards and get going backwards in a hurry.
In this particular video, I will focus on a few different movement patterns you will need to master, as well as explain to you what the edges of my skates are doing and how to use them when looking to create the most power possible from your crossover.
